Today marked launching the most significant air show, Paris Air Show 2023, in its 54th edition. Approximately 140000 trade visitors eagerly await this show. Let’s have a look at one of the achievements of today.
Astroscale Cooperating with CNES:

On the first day of the show, Astroscale Holdings Inc. (“Astroscale”), a private company for the safe and sustainable development of space for the benefit of future generations, announced expanding its operations in France by opening Astroscale France SAS (“Astroscale France”). Astroscale also declared a contract with the French national space agency, Centre National D’Etudes Spatiales (“CNES”). This new partnership with CNES is considered a massive step toward achieving a safe space development according to official statements from Astroscale. The company announced the big news through a tweet on Twitter.
However, what are the expectations of this partnership?
The Future Partnership between Astroscale and CNES:
One of the slogans of Astroscale is “Build the Future of Space, Sustainably”
This is one of the main objectives of Astroscale. According to the president of CNES, this partnership came after assuring the goals of Astroscale align with the vision of France in enhancing France’s place in the space sector. The Astroscale official website stated that France Astroscale will be located in Paris and the announcement of the key employees of France Astroscale will be soon. Astroscale is doing a great job in expanding its operations in different countries recently, including the United Kingdom and the United States of America. But what is Astroscale?
A Glance at Astroscale:
It was founded in 2013 as the first private company that aims to provide on-orbit servicing across all orbits. With a team of over 400 employees, within ten years, Astroscale has made massive progress not only in its expansion but also in its achievements. I think no words are enough to describe the greatness of Astroscale and its vision.
However, we bless this partnership that was one of the outcomes of just the first day of the Paris Air Show 2023. Let’s give a big hand to the efforts of this show. Can not wait for the second day, Paris Air Show.
